About the studio
A studio built around how spaces feel
Since 2009 we have designed homes, workplaces and cultural spaces across three cities — always starting with the people who will use them.
Our story
Formhaus began as two architects sharing a single drafting table in Brooklyn. Fifteen years later we are twenty-four people — architects, interior designers, landscape thinkers and a dedicated build team — working from sunlit studios in Brooklyn and Copenhagen.
What hasn't changed is the method: listen first, draw second, and stay on site until the last detail lands. Nine out of ten clients arrive through a referral, and most stay in touch long after handover.
